Somewhere near the intersection of talent show, standup comedy, trivia game, & dumpster fire, it’s WORST. SONG. EVER. — a Barre-original show of crowdsourced comedic cover versions of the popular songs people despise.

Half the fun is seeing someone you recognize up on stage...and the other half is finding out if some of your least favorite songs are the same ones that performers love to hate on. Bad popular music from across the decades abounds, so there's something to displease everyone! The audience gets to vote for their (least?) favorites, and the WORST. TROPHIES. EVER. are awarded at the end.

WORST. SONG. EVER. has been called “genre-bending entertainment” and “subversively funny.” Experience negativity bonding at its finest when you laugh at/with/near family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, & maybe even a stranger. Want to perform at this event? WORST. SONG. EVER. is open to adults at any level of 'talent’: whether you are a musician, a hobbyist, or a hack! If you can carry a tune, strum a few chords, or better…or worse…then this event’s for you. Perform solo or with others/in a band; a cappella or accompanied; (but absolutely no karaoke, no song parodies, & no original compositions).
