One year after her Grand Ole Opry Debut, Frankie Staton will grace the BOH Stage with her passionate piano playing, storytelling and songs. Frankie has been an advocate for Black Country Musicians for 50 years, creating a demand for black artists like the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Keb’ Mo’, Darius Rucker, and many more in the music industry. Joining her will be other members of the Black Opry performing Country and Folk music. Hailed by Rolling Stone magazine, “Black Opry has grown beyond its blog origins …to be a force of change and a leader in the movement to bring racial equity to country music”.
